Former Spalding County Sheriff Candidate Tim Perez Visits With Son During Holidays
Former 2008 Spalding County Sheriff Candidate Tim Perez, shown here on the right, had the pleasure of visiting with his son Seaman Recruit Perez over the Christmas Holidays.
Seaman Recruit Perez recently graduated from Navy boot camp and came home for the holidays.
Captain Tim Perez (Army retired) wore his uniform to his son’s graduation so that he could be the first officer that his son saluted after graduating. Captain Perez said that his Air Force father wore his uniform to Perez’s officer commissioning so that he could be the first one to render a salute to the newly commissioned Perez. Captain Perez has had the honor of receiving his fathers’ and his sons’ first salute!
Jordan Perez has returned to the Navy for his A-school, when completed he will serve as a Hospital Corpsman.
